Health Ethics Guide
The Health Ethics Guide is the foundational ethics resource used by Covenant Health.
The guide:
- informs our key policies, ethics consultations and ethics education
- is referenced in our Cooperation and Service Agreement with Alberta Health Services
- helps healthcare professionals navigate complex ethical issues while providing care
- is key to board orientation, leadership development programs for staff and physician privileging
- is given to every director, manager and department at Covenant Health
Catholic Health Alliance of Canada compendiums
The Catholic Health Alliance of Canada (CHAC) Ethics Network has developed compendium documents to further articulate and support the positions laid out in the Health Ethics Guide.
