Conny Avila

A proud member of the Covenant Health team since 2014, Conny Avila became head of communications and engagement in April 2024. In this role, she oversees Covenant Health’s branding and marketing strategy and leads the areas of communications, community engagement, digital communications and marketing. 

Conny is a mission-inspired leader who has been accountable in previous roles at Covenant Health for developing our innovation strategy, leading external relations, overseeing our board of directors and senior leadership effectiveness and leading several major strategic projects. 

Conny brings extensive experience to her work at Covenant Health. She has served in roles with Alberta Health Services, the Alberta government and private industry. She holds a master of science in business administration and is certified in Lean 6 Sigma methodologies, change management and project management.

Conny immigrated to Canada from Germany in 2008 and is the proud mother of two children.
