Lisa Munro

Lisa Munro joined the Covenant Foundation as chief executive officer in October 2022. Known as an exceptional relationship builder and collaborator, she brings a wealth of knowledge and more than 25 years of progressive development experience to the role. 

Previously, Lisa served as chief development officer for the University Hospital Foundation, where she raised record revenues. Prior to that, she spent 14 years with the Oilers Entertainment Group as senior director, corporate partnerships, a role that allowed her a unique view of how integrated partnerships can accelerate growth and impact communities. 

Lisa credits her results-driven approach to her 15 years with CIBC, where she was recognized with a National Sales Award for Top Performance three times as well as an Annual Achievers Award for Sales Leadership. She held several roles with CIBC, including general manager of imperial service and small business banking. Her reputation as a sponsorship and marketing expert has led to invitations to serve as co-chair for the Marketing Innovation Awards and judge for the Sponsorship Marketing Council of Canada Awards. Lisa also acts as an advisor to the board for the Network of Empowered Women Annual Business Conference and is a director on the board of AIESEC Canada, which focuses on developing future leaders through international exchange.
