Continuing care services
St. Martha’s Place, our locked long-term care unit, offers quality, compassionate care to 25 residents.
Long-term care is available once you have been assessed by a case manager. You can choose to be placed with us, but you may have to wait for an opening.
We support seniors who are patients or residents in our care. Our focus is helping those who have mental health issues with activities for healthy living.

Banff Mineral Springs offers diagnostic imaging for emergency patients, inpatients and outpatients.

For health concerns that are not an emergency, phone:
- your family doctor
- Health Link (811) to speak to a registered nurse
We see the sickest patients first, regardless of when they arrive.
How long you wait can depend on the time of day and how busy we are at the time.
What to bring to the emergency department
If possible, bring:
- your provincial healthcare card
- a list of your medications
- contact information for your doctor
Emergency medical services
Our team responds 24 hours a day, every day to emergencies. We serve the Village of Lake Louise, Banff National Park and areas.

We offer interpretive services for patients, residents and families who prefer to communicate in a language other than English. You may request services in person, through live video or over the phone.
To arrange for an interpreter, speak to a member of your care team.
We offer laboratory services to help healthcare providers better understand your health. You may be an emergency patient, inpatient or outpatient to receive these services.
