Electrodiagnostics

Our department assesses heart rhythms for outpatients and for patients admitted to the hospital.

Services 

• electrodiagnostics, such as ECGs to see electrical activity of the heart
• stress tests
• holter monitoring for inpatients and outpatients

Referral

You will need a doctor’s referral from the Grey Nuns Hospital.

Get ready for your visit

Bring the following to your appointment:

• photo identification card
• healthcare card
• current list of medications

Stress tests

Wear:

• clothing that is comfortable and allows your move easily
• closed-toed footwear for exercise.

Holter monitoring

Shower before your appointment as the device with be on your chest for 24 - 48-hours and it must stay dry. You must return the monitor at the end of the testing period.
