Network access and email
Use your credentials to access email, e-People, our intranet and more.
Once you have been hired in e-People, your network username and temporary password for accessing Covenant Health systems will be sent to your manager. You will need your network credentials to access your Covenant Health email, CompassionNet (our intranet), e-People (employee self service) and CLiC (learning platform).
If you currently or previously worked for Alberta Health Services or Alberta Precision Laboratories, contact IT to confirm the status of your credentials and ask that your Covenant Health email be added to your account. If you work for more than one employer, you can also ask that your Covenant Health email be set as your primary email.
Remote email access
To keep your information secure, we use multifactor authentication when you access your Covenant Health email remotely through Microsoft Outlook Web Access.
When you log into your email using a personal device, you will enter your Covenant Health network username and password and be prompted to use a second method of authentication.
Be aware of fraud
Covenant Health will never ask for your login, password or personal information. If you receive an email requesting this information, it is a scam. Forward the email to securityincident@ahs.ca.
